Ruddhi Foudnation

Ruddhi Global Foundation conducted an inclusive workshop in Thane for autistic children and their neurotypical peers, designed to celebrate abilities, build confidence, and foster genuine friendships. The session opened with simple, visual schedules so every child knew what to expect. Volunteers led small-group activities—sensory-friendly art, rhythm and movement, and hands-on STEM toys—allowing children to choose tasks that felt comfortable. Facilitators modeled clear communication, turn-taking, and peer encouragement, while quiet corners and noise-reduction options helped anyone who needed a break. Alongside the children’s tracks, parents and caregivers joined a brief huddle on establishing routines, using visual supports at home, and practicing patient, strengths-based interactions that reduce stress for the whole family.

Values were woven throughout: kindness in words, respect for differences, and the courage to try new things. Educators demonstrated simple ways to scaffold tasks, such as breaking steps into visuals, offering choices, and celebrating small wins. Volunteers received guidance on inclusive play—how to invite without pressuring, wait without rushing, and assist without taking over. To ensure comfort and dignity, the team arranged hydration points, clean rest spaces, and a first-aid station.

After the learning blocks, Ruddhi Global Foundation served nutritious vegetarian meals so every participant could eat together, reflect on the day, and share highlights. Many children proudly showcased their art and craft pieces, while parents exchanged contact details to continue peer support. We extend heartfelt thanks to the Thane community, partners, and volunteers whose care made this day possible. With consistent, small acts of inclusion, we can help every child feel seen, safe, and ready to flourish.
